Tree of Sharing, a wholly independent 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization in Spokane, Washington, first began operations in 1982 and has grown to be the largest Tree of Sharing in the country. This year 2016 we will celebrate 34 years of service to the Greater Spokane Area and are now serving a total of 57 agencies.
This community partnership has allowed us to serve up to 8,000 “often-forgotten” members of our community. Confidentiality is preserved throughout the entire process. The unique way in which we discharge this huge responsibility allows the participating agencies to focus on their mission while we help fill their beneficiaries needs.
Our independent board of directors are chosen by the diverse, area-wide participating agencies which we serve. This affords us the ability to be far reaching in our accumulation process and impartial in our distribution process.
